Hotel ballrooms are tired lack a certain punch or impact with it comes to special events or corporate team building events. But your next team building activity doesn’t have to be in a tired ballroom. Whether you’re in San Diego or Los Angeles – Check out these creative locations for your next activity:
Empty Retail Locations
Find an empty storefront and approach the owner or management company. Its better to have you and your team in there for a day, than for it to sit empty. You get a blank palette to work with and they can offset their costs a little.
The Alleyway
Alleys are a great spot for our Graffiti team building events but they can serve a variety of event uses. Wouldn’t it be cool to have a cocktail reception surrounded by brick and the city lights? A few accent lights on the walls a solid DJ and you’ve got a great space for a memorable corporate event. Make sure you speak with all building owners and check on permits. San Diego has some great spots for this.
Parking Garage
This is one of our favorite spots to be for our graffiti team building activity if the weather goes south. It’s a unique space, typically sheltered from the elements, and unless you live in Los Angeles it’s never full. So it’s easy to block off a section of it. The rooftop is a great spot for any style of event not just team building. In Los Angeles Devil’s Night Drive-in hosts a drive-in movie on the roof of a parking garage surrounded by the big city lights of LA.
